Chaque Chip est compos\u00e9e de cinq microcanaux pour augmenter la quantit\u00e9 de spermatozo\u00efdes r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9s. Les microcanaux et les deux chambres, l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e et la sortie, sont remplies de milieu de culture. La semence est d\u00e9pos\u00e9e dans la chambre d&rsquo;origine et, une demi-heure plus tard, les spermatozo\u00efdes ayant atteint la chambre finale sont r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>La conception est con\u00e7ue pour emp\u00eacher les spermatozo\u00efdes anormaux ou alt\u00e9r\u00e9s d&rsquo;atteindre la fin. Les spermatozo\u00efdes alt\u00e9r\u00e9s vont entrer en collision avec les parois du microcanal et ralentir leur mouvement. Cela entra\u00eene une alt\u00e9ration des membranes des spermatozo\u00efdes et une d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration de l&rsquo;ADN des spermatozo\u00efdes par des m\u00e9canismes d&rsquo;oxydation.<\/p>\n<p>Chez les patients pr\u00e9sentant une fragmentation de l&rsquo;ADN double brin (cause d&rsquo;avortement), cette m\u00e9thode de s\u00e9lection s&rsquo;est av\u00e9r\u00e9e
