Our commitent to quality

The CEFER Reproduction Institute has been recognised with the ISO quality and SEP excellence in private health care seals for its determination to provide patients, donors, collaborators and society in general with quality service. These seals recognise previous essential work, although it is never finished as our work is an open process of continuous improvement. Therefore, we subject ourselves to a self-evaluation process following the European Excellence Model, EFQM.

QUALITY OBJECTIVES AND POLICY

The CEFER Reproduction Institute defines itself as an innovative medical care company, the main mission of which is to offer patients a complete range of services in the field of assisted reproduction with the best quality possible.

To do so, several quality values have been established, which the entire staff is aware of, must respect and take on:

• Improving the rate of results,placing as little strain as possible on patients and the organisation.
• Offering the best service, by unifying quality criteria with the objective of gaining loyal patients.
• The priority of respecting patients’ freedom to decide as an ethical principle.
• Personalising care, as well as the diagnostic methods and treatments proposed and carried out in order to improve patient care.
• Using the system so that our company is exceptionally organised and controlled; carrying out tasks efficiently and clearly assigning responsibilities and duties.
• Continuous innovation in diagnostic and treatment resources.
• Increasing training and staff motivation, which will bring about the benefit of improved patient satisfaction.
   

In order to make these values a reality, management has decided to implement the private healthcare quality improvement system, the recognition for which is based on obtaining the SEP mark and the international certificate showing compliance with ISO 9000 standards. Moreover, evaluations using the European Excellence Model (EFQM) and evaluations using major health care accreditation standards are included in our quality programme.

The Management of the CEFER Reproduction Institute provides the necessary resources and drives improvement activities that are set out in order to obtain the proposed objectives.
