• Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Seville. • Specialized in Endocrinology at the University of Barcelona. • Training: Reproduction Research Centre (Buenos Aires); Houston Fertility Institute (Texas); Cornell Medical Center (New York); Department of Gynaecology at the University of Kiel (Germany); Eastern Virginia Medical School (Norfolk, Virginia). • Contributor to and editor of several national and international publications. • Founder (1981) and President (1985-1989) of the Spanish Andrology Association (ASESA). • Established the first Spanish sperm bank in 1977. • Director of the Instituto de Reproducción CEFER. • Spanish representative on the Executive Council of the International Society of Andrology (ISA). • Received Doctor of the Year award from EDIMSA on several occasions

Dra Flor Molfino
(Gynecologist of CEFER Reproduction Institute)

After graduating from medical school in 1996, Dr. Florencia Molfino went on to specialize in Gynecology and Obstetrics. She completed her residency at the University of Buenos Aires in 2001, and began working as Chief Resident in the Gynecology Department of B. Houssay Hospital in Buenos Aires. She completed a three-year postgraduate fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at the Hospital Valld´Hebronin Barcelona in 2005.  She has since worked in Reproductive Medicine at FECUNMED (March 2006 – March 2008) and  CEFER (March 2008 to present). Dr. Molfino is a member of the Spanish Society of Fertility (SEF) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology(ESHRE). Her research has focused on polycystic ovary syndrome, developing new protocols for ovarian stimulation for in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm in women with a poor response, the safety and efficacy of reproductive treatment in women over 50 years of age, and improving scientific information and communication with patients.
